With the iMarkup process automation software, users will be provided with an easy way to initiate and manage workflow processes and related business content through the web-based solution - supporting users in all stages of the content lifecycle.
Wayne Swift, Senior business application analyst at Dimension Data, explains, "We were looking for a more automated way of working across the whole spectrum".
"At present some of the in-house developed software applications are proving problematic in their operation, account takeovers and support applications are difficult to administer".
"We are looking to build one platform from multiple parts of the workflow, all of which can be managed through just one application process, designed and built by The Content Group".
Swift continues, "The opening of three more international offices has proved that the visibility of cross border purchases are paramount, iMarkup will mean we can have central management across each site and detailed analysis of company expenditure".
"It will replace our outdated UK system and eliminate our current European paper-based system, providing decision makers with far more control over finances and clear checking of regulatory compliance issues".
A long term working relationship over the past six years has supported Dimension Data's decision to implement iMarkup from TCG.
In previous years, they have also purchased, Formscape - the Document Process Automation software and INVU - document management system - packages designed to ease the problem of document management, output and retrieval functionality.
The implementation of INVU particularly made substantial advances to Dimension Data's way of working, making the UK office virtually paperless, transferring over a million physical pieces of documentation to digital format.
All achieved during the process of relocating the office from Sunbury, Middlesex to Fleet in Hampshire.
Swift concludes, "We expect to see immediate time and cost savings across the board, as well as offering a state of the art approach for an integrated and fully automated way of working".
"In total we have approximately 100 UK and 250 European users who have full access via a web browser".
"With the new TCG system in place we can support all users through out the life-cycle process".
Commenting on Dimension Data's relationship with The Content Group, Swift says, "The Content Group has continually been able to deliver on its promises and when we have asked them to provide proofs of concept, they have immediately proven the solution's functionality".
"This has given us great confidence that we are embarking on a long-term relationship with the right partner".
"The team is always extremely responsive to enquiries and any issues we have come across and is very proactive in its advice and guidance".
