Precision turning centres are versatile

High precision turning centres feature slant bed configuration, tool turret with driven tooling and a sub-spindle for second operations.

The recently introduced Hyundai range of high precision turning centres is based on their highly sucsessful Hit range of CNC lathes The range consists of the Hit 160M, 200M, 250M and the 250SA

All models have a Slant bed with a driven tool turret.

The 250SA also features a Sub-spindle for second operations.

Hit - 160M Series - the 160M series has a spindle bore of 44mm and a 6in chuck.

Turning capacity is 290mm diameter by 300mm long with the spindle speed being 60 - 6,000 rpm.

12 driven tools can be utilized with 4,500 rpm and 2.8kW of power.

This allows for drilling up to 12mm and tapping up to 10mm.

The machine features the Fanuc Oi control system.

As expected a full range of options such as Auto doors, Bar feeds, auto part catchers, tool probing are available for the 160 series.

Hit - 200M Series - the bar capacity of the 200M is 51mm, the chuck size 8in, with a spindle speed of 4,500 rpm.

The turning capacity is 340mm diameter by 430mm long, the Spindle power is 11kW.

The tool turret has 12 positions, with driven tool speeds of up to 4,500 rpm and power of 4.2kW.

This gives drilling capacity up to 16mm and tapping capacity of 12mm.

All the normal options are available to enhance the operation of this series i.e Auto doors, Bar feeds, auto part catchers, tool probing.

The control is the Siemens 810D system using Hyundai's Dpro - T programming package allowing easy and efficient programming with a graphic dialog.

Hit - 250M Series - two models are available in this Series with a turning diameter of 390mm and a turned length of 650mm.

The 250M has a bar capacity of 70mm with a 10in chuck, 12 driven VDI tools on a non - lift Turret.

Driven tool speeds are up to 3,000 rpm with 4.2kW of power.

This gives drilling capacity of 25mm with the ability to tap up to 16mm.

The 250MS has all the same features but is fitted with a Sub-spindle, using a 6in chuck running at 4,500 rpm.

This sub-spindle allows automatic part transfer for second operation work with synchronization between both spindles.

The control is the Siemens 810D system using Hyundai's Dpro - T programming package allowing easy and efficent programming with a graphic dialog. Request a free brochure from C Dugard ...
