UK machine tool importer of Hyundai Kia, Hedelius, Edel, You Ji and Tos Varnsdorf machine tools reports its biggest forward order book in its trading history.
Establishment of the wide ranging Hyundai Kia machine tools in the UK, take-up of C Dugard's in-house specified Dugard Eagle lathe and machining centre range and the success of specialist product agencies of Hedelius, Edel, You Ji and Tos Varnsdorf, have developed into the Hove, Sussex-based machine tool company having the biggest forward order book in its trading history Says Eric Dugard, managing director: "We have some GBP 3.9 million on our order book at present which is a massive 29% higher than 12 months ago

Our experience across all aspects of machine tools and the ability to provide a total support package has really built customer confidence in our business." While Dugard maintains a very active used machine business, sales have rocketed in new equipment to generate 90 per cent of turnover.
While new machine sales is predicted to grow further, it is the in-depth knowledge of pre-owned equipment that enables Dugard to broker more competitive deals direct with customers and will therefore continue to be an important part of the business.
