Wide range of CNC machines will suit all tastes
High speed lathes, as well as vertical and horizontal machining centres, to suit all tastes, will be exhibited at Mach 2002 by C Dugard.
Based in Hove, UK, C Dugard said it will be their largest ever presence at an exhibition, providing 'a something for everyone' display - including golfing enthusiasts.
* Hyundai-Kia machine tools - there is a range of 78 horizontal and vertical CNC lathes and machining centres available of which three of the latest generation main, subspindle and Y-axis mill-turn centres will be demonstrated under power.
The SKT 150 SY, SKT 250 SY and SKT 200 TTSY machines, the latter with 620mm swing by 700mm turning length, will demonstrate heavy duty Y-axis milling cycles using a VDI 40 turret.
* Hedelius 5-axis VMC - a top of the range Hedelius 5-axis, duplex table machining centre will be demonstrating ROTASwing datum machining sequences on its right hand table and 5-axis machining on the left hand table.
In addition to pendulum cycles demonstrated the right hand table can also be fitted with trunnion and circular NC table.
This feature enables two, five-sided machining sequences to be completed on the same machine, involving duplicate set-ups for one part of totally different components to be processed.
Hedelius machines are available with axis travels of up to 4.5m (X) by 1m (Y) by 770mm (Z).
* You-Ji vertical turning lathes (VTL) - a large capacity elevating rail VTL from You-Ji will be shown alongside the Hedelius.
The You-Ji YV-1200 has a 1250mm diameter table, 1350 turning diameter by 1200mm high and 45kW table drive.
You-Ji is able to supply machines with tables up to 3m diameter and motor powers of up to 75kW.
* Eagle HMCs and VMCs - from the Dugard Eagle stable, nine machines will all be new to a UK exhibition.
Those under power will include a competitively priced X-5, a 5-axis VMC and the first Dugard Eagle HMC, the MH-500.
Also to be demonstrated will be a new bridge-type milling machine with a range of spindles up to 24,000 rev/min and 1.6m by 1.3m by 700mm axis strokes.
