Treated O-rings shorten assembly times
Treated O-rings aid the fitting of seals in industrial and automotive applications and significantly reduce the potential of mechanical damage to each O-ring during installation.
Solving control problem caused by lost heat
Ceetak were asked by a major machine manufacturer to redesign its heat seal system incorporating Ceetak's very own LVH system but with key design modifications.
With a small footprint and robust design, the Type 178 has a high throughput for an entry level system, typically up to 50 cycles/minute, and is quick and simple to set up, with fast tooling changeovers.
The system can be used with a variety of bag materials such as Polyethylene, Polypropylene, OPP and laminates and bag sizes ranging from 50x50mm upwards.
Unlike competing systems that use stapled header cards, the Type 178 uses heat sealed header cards that reduce the amount of operator input required, resulting in faster throughput.
In addition, the header card is applied during the actual form, fill and seal process, eliminating problems associated with conventional systems as this process is normally carried out downstream of the packing process, during a second operation.
The new Ceetak form, fill and seal system is designed to be easy to use and features a mechanical actuating knife for bag separation, magazine loading for header cards and temperature controlled heat sealing.
In addition, the Type 178 can be supplied with a counter or weigher, which accurately separates and feeds the products being packaged into the machine.
Mark Franklin, Account Manager at Ceetak explains, "The Type 178 has been developed to improve the packaging process still further by offering fast all-in-one operation.
In particular, the new machine eliminates the need for separate header card application while also providing high throughput and short changeover times, all at low cost.
The Type 178 is simple to use and is ideal for customers packing small, lightweight products, and as with all our products, the Type 178 is backed by our comprehensive technical and after sales support.".
