The University of Durham is currently accepting registrations for a ten day long Short Industrial Course This course (24th April - 6th May 2006) introduces the fundamental and applied aspects of Industrial Automation in addition to undertaking an integrated, team-based, laboratory project work on an aspect of automation, initiated by industrial partners

If you have seen industrial automation in use, but had few opportunities to gain hands-on experience of programming and integrating such equipment then this is your chance.

The course offers direct experience in a structured and controlled environment.

* Days 3 and 4: Industrial Robot Applications.

* Days 5 and 6: Robotic Design.

* Days 7 and 8: Advanced Robotics.
