Casella CEL is launching an intrinsically safe (IS) version of its Apex personal sampling pump range for sampling dusts, fumes, gases, vapours and VOCs in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Simultaneous measurement reduces measurement time and associated cost, while, at the same time, ensuring a high standard of data.
Designed with ease-of-use in mind, the CEL-450 incorporates the most up-to-date technology, bringing real-time frequency analysis to the workplace for hearing protection assessment, while the CEL-490 with its emphasis on environmental monitoring and community noise investigations, measures all necessary statistical parameters, even in frequency modes.
Both of these point-and-shoot logging instruments feature an easy-to-use menu structure and greatly reduce analysis time through the production of a time history of the noise levels at selectable time intervals, as well as providing a real-time frequency analysis.
Product manager Tim Turney says: "Both of the products are upgradeable, allowing a customer to buy the right instrument to match their needs, but in the future, if their needs change, the instrument can be changed to meet those new requirements".
The new dB23 software package incorporates a full graphics package and extensive reporting capabilities, giving quick and easy access to data in an intuitive system.
