Software eliminates manual NC program
proving out

Using NC verification and optimisation software eliminates the process of manually proving-out NC programs. It reduces scrap loss and rework and protects against damaging crashes.

VERICUT is NC verification and optimisation software that enables users to eliminate the process of manually proving-out NC programs It reduces scrap loss and rework and protects expensive CNC machine tools against damaging crashes

VERICUT also optimises NC programs in order to produce the most efficient tool paths possible, This both saves time and produces higher quality surface finish.

VERICUT supports G-codes to simulate milling, drilling, turning, wire EDM, and mill/turn machining operations.

Tool Path Review is a feature that enables NC programmers to review/replay critical sections of a tool path simulation.

The user can watch the tool motion and the NC program code side-by-side.

When a mistake is detected, he/she can then edit the NC program and immediately replay the results.

This new feature further enhances the capabilities of the world's leading CNC Simulation and Verification software.

Curve Fitting improves finishes on surfaces and reduces machining cycle time.

This feature is a "pre-processor" that reads an NC program to detect sequences of planar motion and fits arcs to smooth linear motion, within a user-specified tolerance, along the machine's major axes (XY, YZ and XZ).

The result is improved finish on surfaces and a reduction in the machining cycle time.

Curve fitting reduces or eliminates co-linear motion (multiple motions that form a line) so that NC program file sizes are smaller.

Curve Fitting can be applied to an entire NC program, or to individual tools within the program.

The Customiser feature enables the user (or a CGTech reseller) to create a custom interface for VERICUT.

This is especially useful for shop-floor programming or specialised machining processes such as optimising NC programs for mould tooling.

By creating an interface that is tailored to the specific verification application, users are able to better streamline the NC programming and prove-out process.

A custom interface also makes the product easier to learn and use - so that everyone in the shop can quickly verify the accuracy and integrity of NC programs, or optimise them for faster, more efficient machining.

Another way to verify the accuracy of the machined part against the design model is through VERICUT's enhanced AUTO-DIFF module.

This module enables the user to embed the digital design model inside the raw stock.

The user then sets a tolerance level offset inside the embedded design model.

When the tool contacts the design model enough to violate the tolerance setting VERICUT reports the error and highlights the gouge.

Optical Comparator Various circular and rectangular graduated grid layouts can be overlaid on a VERICUT view.

The grid is automatically sized to the selected view, and the user controls the type of grid displayed, allowing quick visual measurements of the cut part.

DXF drawings of tools can be imported into the VERICUT 5.2 tool library.

Version 5.2 also simulates turn threading operations.

VERICUT 5.2 features a new MasterCAM interface.

Utilising MasterCAM's C-Hook technology, the interface runs VERICUT from within MasterCAM.

Setup information, including tools, tool paths, and models are automatically sent to VERICUT in their proper orientation and location.

Users can work in MasterCAM while VERICUT verifies the tool path.

VERICUT 5.2 can output many file types included JPEG and TIF still images and AVI animations.

A new high quality rendered image format has been added.

VERICUT runs under Windows and UNIX.
