The new VCS-1000 range of mobile vacuum calibration systems from Chell Instruments has been developed for in-situ calibration comparisons using on-board capacitance manometer Transfer Standards.

Operators of Pharmaceutical and Semiconductor plant will be very familiar with the difficulty of maintaining their many vacuum gauges and transmitters economically The new VCS-1000 range of mobile vacuum calibration systems from Chell Instruments has been developed to provide in-situ calibration comparisons using on-board capacitance manometer Transfer Standards

Specifications go all the way from simple pumped chambers with known gauges to full Turbo-pumped ISO/DIS calibration chambers with heated Transfer Standards.

Systems are constructed to suit your ruling access dimensions and handling requirements and are thus bespoke to your application.

The use of standard modules keeps the cost to a minimum.

Current procedures involving the removal of plant vacuum gauges to a calibration laboratory are extremely disruptive and there is always the risk of sensitivity discontinuities caused by the physical handling.

Much of the downtime and all of the physical risk is avoided using an in-situ calibration procedure.

In these times of ever greater regulatory control of measurement traceability, the VCS provides the most economic solution.

Every VCS is supported by Chell's UKAS and ISO17025 accredited vacuum calibration laboratory and will have the lowest deliverable uncertainty of in-situ measurement commercially available in the UK.
