A 24 hour turnaround of grain finished steel plate and sheet is now available from a subcontract finisher that has invested in advanced wide-belt plate and sheet steelfinishing technology,

A 24 hour turnaround of grain finished steel plate and sheet is now available for OEM's and engineering production operations in the UK The increasing requirement for this specialist metal finishing process encouraged metalfinishers, CH Precision Finishers to invest in advanced wide-belt plate and sheet steelfinishing technology, to offer a level of service not previously available in the UK.

The process utilises a fully automated wide-belt steel plate and sheet finishing machine, built for CH Precision Finishers with a host of advanced features.

The production finishing service offers assured consistency of grain finish to perfectly match the customers requirements - including Dull Polish (240 grit) to Satin Finish (320 grit) and an infinite variety of grain options in-between.

Steel plate and sheet up to 1250 x 2500mm, with thickness of 50mm can be handled by CH Precision, and thicknesses up to 160mm for fabrications with flat surfaces, eg: box beams etc.

The process will also cope with multiple components of laser and flame cut blanks, from small format to items 1250mm wide.

In addition, the technology offers a deburring treatment for laser cut profiles and punched steel, by utilising wide brush rollers.

CH Precision maintain that the uniformity of consistent finish and cosmetic appearance can only be assured with this level of technology and operational skills, making the subcontracting of this specialist process the most viable options for OEM's and production engineering companies.

The service is offered nationwide, dependant on quantities, and a CH Precision collection / delivery service, to line-side, is available in most areas.
