IBaan for PLM now embeds Autovue
C-Ark, the developer of iBaan for PLM, licences Cimmetry's visualization and collaboration technology
c-Ark, the developer of iBaan for PLM solutions for industrial enterprises, and Cimmetry Systems, the global leader in visualization and collaboration solutions for the A/E/C, engineering, manufacturing and electronics markets, has announced that c-Ark has licensed Cimmetry's AutoVue visualization and collaboration technology for its PLM solutions AutoVue is now incorporated into c-Ark's PLM solutions, providing viewing, markup and real-time collaboration capabilities for more than 200 formats to all enterprise users directly from within the PLM environment

Cimmetry Systems has announced that the new release of their AutoVue family of products (version 15.4 c1) contains native support for Visio 2000 and 2002.
Formats supported include 3D CAD parts and assemblies, 2D CAD drawings, EDA PCB layouts and schematics, raster, vector, hybrid and office documents.

Cimmetry Systems says that its AutoVue family of products for Windows and Java (version 15.4 c1) includes native support for Microsoft's Office XP suite of applications.
Cimmetry's Autovue supports Autodesk Inventor
Cimmetry's AutoVue family of products now supports Autodesk's Inventor format. AutoVue can view and markup the 3D models as well as the 2D drawing files created by the Inventor package.
