CreonLabControl's Q-DIS Backbone technology will highlight how technology is now bridging a gap in the traditional R and D development process by allowing to work in a unique environment that enables greater flexibility and enhanced collaboration.
Based on the Q-DIS Backbone technology, CreonLabControl will showcase: - e-lab notebook: Q-DIS/Dragon, - e-record management: Q-DIS/Panda, - next generation LIMS: Q-DIS/QM, - automatic LC-MS dereplicator: Q-DIS/Marlin, - SOP management: Q-DIS/AQV, - analytical workflow management: Q-DIS/R, - scientific viewer: InSpector and - expert system: Spectacle.
The Creon•Lab•Control approach to analytical data management offers key advantages over existing alternatives that range from conventional paper- and spreadsheet-based systems to expensive server solutions.
Sharing information when using any of these systems generally forces users to replicate data.
Whether the data is a single instance or an entire data collection, the existence of duplicate information is subject to costly errors.
Complex communication about approvals, modification tracking, and version history is handled in a manual, ad-hoc fashion with emails, phone calls, faxes and file transfers that adds unnecessary confusion to the process.
This process requires significant IT overhead, making it nearly impossible to give all members of a complex organization adequate access to information.
By building analytical data management functionality in a centralized, web-native environment, Creon•Lab•Control offers significant advantages over its competitors.
Centralized storage of product data eliminates the need of data duplication and ensures that all users are working with the same up-to-date information; the web-native application platform makes sharing data within geographically distributed organizations fast and simple.
"Collaboration is not an option for organizations that wish to be competitive ? it's imperative," said Dr Thorsten Froehlich, member of the board, responsible for Marketing and Product Innovation.
"This requires increasingly effective communication around modification of data throughout R and D.
That's why any solution for managing analytical data has to do more than just to allow collaboration ? it has to enhance it.
And, only a solution built on a web-native platform ? with an understanding of the complete R and D process ? can enable true collaboration around modification of data." CreonLabControl will offer live demonstrations in Hall 6.3, Booth G32 - G33, of the complete analytical data management product range.
The demonstrations will show participants how to create more value of their already existing analytical data as well as how to reduce ongoing costs and improve service.
