Having experienced customers as diverse as small subcontractors to multinationals such as BAe and working on projects valued over 500,000 (pounds sterling), his mould and die apprenticeship and production engineering background combines with extensive understanding of milling and turning.
This capability was seen by Colchester Sales as key to work with its five strong application team based at Colchester Lathes Heckmondwike headquarters in West Yorkshire.
The Colchester Sales operation is based on three high profile customer orientated technology centres adjacent to the lathe manufacturing plant in Heckmondwike, at the 600 Centre in Shepshed for the Midlands and RK International in Erith, Kent, for the South.
Each centre is being fully equipped as showroom and demonstration areas with a strong turning technology orientated customer support and operations role.
