Following a one-day 'Turning workshop' held at the Southern Technical Centre of Colchester Sales, and attended by 14 companies, immediate orders were taken for four machines worth over GBP 100,000.

Among the most recent machines to be installed is the Colchester Tornado 120 'Lights-out' turning cell package, the latest MultiTurn competitively priced CNC, electronic, manual flat bed lathe with manual guidance software, a Tornado A90 two-axis chucking lathe, a Combi K2 slant bed lathe with eight station turret and one of the top selling low-cost GBP 12,750 Triumph centre lathes which, through value engineering, is now being sold at a 40 per cent lower price than 12 months ago.
