The redesigned Cropico DO5000 high accuracy microhmmeter encompasses all the features required of an ohmmeter in one flexible instrument with exceptional functionality.

The redesigned Cropico DO5000 high accuracy microhmmeter encompasses all the features required of an ohmmeter in one flexible instrument with exceptional functionality and programmable current setting in 1% steps from 10% to 100% with 10A maximum to suit any application and all testing specifications without compromise A ver y wide measuring range of 0.1 microU to 30,000U is covered in eight ranges with manual or automatic selection and +/- 0.03% accuracy, while automatic temperature compensation references the measurement to 20C or other user defined settings or coefficients to increase true measurement accuracy

Programmable Hi/Lo limits with front panel red/green lamps allow easy component sorting.

The standard unit also has RS232 and data logging function, storing up to 4000 readings with date and time stamp and statistical analysis with display of max/min/average values as well as the peak-to-peak values and standard deviation.

Three measurement speeds of 50, 25 or 2.5 per second gives the choice between high speed with full accuracy for production line testing normally with an interface, medium speed also for fast production testing but where the DUT needs a little more time to settle or slow mode for manual operation where clarity of display is desirable.

Suited to laboratory as well as production line testing, with the addition of the RS232, IEEE-488 or PLC interfaces the DO5000 may be remotely controlled and integrated into automated test systems.

For the measurement of inductive circuits such as motor and generator windings it has built-in measurement algorithms to ensure steady and stable readings.

Other features include open circuit lead warning, cable length calculation, auto-zero of measured values and automatic average and display of measurement with forward and with full accuracy reverse current.
