Flash scanner has multiple test
connections

The hi-pot flash tester and scanner equipped with multiple test connections.

The hi-pot flash tester and scanner equipped with multiple test connections The advanced technology H2 Hal Scan combines the results traceability features of the recently launched HAL flash tester with the ability to test with up to 5 separately scanned connections via isolated pairs of test points The instrument incorporates five fully isolated pairs of HT contacts, enabling multiple test connections to be established with the product or component under test

With direct connection to multi-test point enclosures, the new H2 Hal Scan speeds-up complex hi-pot test sequences associated with the automatic safety testing of components, assemblies or finished electrical products that require more than one pair of hi pot test connections.

Traceability of test results is a key feature of the new product.

Specialist software and a large capacity internal database gives the H2 HAL Scan tester the ability to store test details and results against serial numbers.

Up to 6000 test results can be stored in the unit's internal memory, with outputs to produce labels, reports and proof that products have been tested.

The H2 has selectable 50 or 60 Hz output frequencies and is capable of carrying out AC or DC flash testing and insulation testing in both open and closed area test environments.

User-friendly controls and programmable options for establishing test voltages, ramping times, leakage limits and other parameters allow complex test sequences to be generated safely and effectively.

The H2 Hal Scan complies with BS EN 50191 and has been designed for the fast and effective production line safety testing of components or electrical products, as part of quality assurance test systems, in RandD centres and in Type Testing Laboratories.
