monitoring
A manufacturer of low-cost integrated control systems, has received a grant under the DTI's Smart Awards scheme to help fund the development of two new condition-monitoring systems.
Controlstar Systems, the Horncastle-based manufacturer of low-cost integrated control systems, has received a grant under the DTI's Smart Awards scheme to help fund the development of two new condition-monitoring systems that will have the capability of sending invaluable data from remote sites back to a central point using a dial-up connection, intranet or the internet The first system is for vibration monitoring and will help to predict incipient failures of rotating equipment in the field, while the second one - a power quality monitoring system - will provide a facility for analysing energy usage at remote locations
