Powerful quality data management system with modular software analyses, evaluates and displays process and quality data in real time and provides interactive reports.

Carl Zeiss Innovation Center for Metrology based in Dresden, Germany introduced at Control 2005 in Sinsheim, Germany ttWeb, an extremely powerful quality data management system With this modular software system users are able to analyze, evaluate and display process and quality data in real time

The result: interactive reports containing all relevant process parameters.

ttWeb - tt, the Greek P (we do not have the 'pi' character, so 'pi' = 'tt' - Ed) stands for process - is based on complex algorithms and intelligent data structures that were used to develop the web-based system.

The system is ideal for all industries where large quantities of quality data are evaluated.

The advantages of real-time process control provided by ttWeb can be seen whenever the time between measured data acquisition and process evaluation must be reduced, and therefore control mechanisms accelerated.

This leads ideally to the full utilisation of production tolerances.

This very powerful QA management system from Carl Zeiss connects quality assurance to the digital factory.

Its scalability makes it suitable for large companies in automotive industry as well as smaller companies or suppliers.

The latest communication protocols provide global access or networking of multiple locations.

For 'on the fly' calculations, ?Web provides quick access to important data - a procedure that requires powerful structures and intelligent services.

Modular design permits easy and flexible data management ttWeb features a modular design and consists of ttWeb Reporter, ttWeb Monitor, ttWeb Planner and ttWeb Mobile * Quality data can be quickly and clearly merged in reports and graphically displayed using the ttWeb Reporter.

The easy-to-use report designer allows the user to customize reports.

The ?Web Reporter saves both time and money: the report is automatically updated from the database when changes are made - costly report management is no longer necessary.

* The ttWeb Monitor is designed for process monitoring.

It realizes the vision of the 'Factory of the Future', where live quality data is displayed on plasma monitors at the respective process stations.

* Inspection planning, and the creation and management of inspection characteristics are easily performed with the ttWeb Planner.

When changes are made to the characteristics, the original versions are not overwritten.

The changed feature is recorded with the date of modification.

This provides seamless documentation of all changes to inspection planning that can be easily monitored on a computer - much the same as with appointments in a calendar.

* Mobile access to quality data using PDAs is planned with ttWeb Mobile.

Database in the background: for enterprise solutions as well as small companies ttWeb can be easily integrated into the customer's existing web portal.

Customised upgrades with specific tasks are also possible.

During evaluation with ?Web, common evaluation algorithms such as QDAS, can be accessed.

The web-based ttWeb quality manager makes it possible to analyse, evaluate and graphically display process and quality data in real time.
