IR temperature sensor mounts just where you want
One of the most striking things about the new Convir IL Series infrared temperature sensor is its small size; at just 105mm long and 25mm diameter it can easily be mounted just where you need it
The emissivity setting is fixed at 0.95, making the ST8810 Series ideal for most organic materials and non-shiny (painted, corroded or anodised) metals.
Readings can be taken in degC or degF, and when the trigger is released the last measurement is held for 7 seconds before the unit automatically turns off.
The narrow, 8:1, field of view helps to minimize errors by providing a small diameter measurement area.
These rugged units will operate in ambient temperatures from 0øC to 50øC and are powered by a standard PP3 9 V battery.
Model ST8812 measures from -50degC to 200degC with 0.1degC resolution and from 200degC to 500degC with 1degC resolution - the change in resolution occurs automatically.
Model ST8811 measures from -20degC to 450degC and model ST8810 measures from -20degC to 270degC.
With prices starting from as low as GBP 39.99 for the ST8810 unit, these sensors are an extremely cost effective way to measure temperature quickly and accurately.
