IR temperature sensor mounts just where you want
One of the most striking things about the new Convir IL Series infrared temperature sensor is its small size; at just 105mm long and 25mm diameter it can easily be mounted just where you need it
Handheld infrared thermometers have laser sighting
A range of low cost, handheld infrared thermometers with laser sighting and a large backlit LCD display have various temperature ranges to suit different applications.
Modules are available with either a 9 to 36 volt DC input range or an 18 to 75 Volt DC input range.
Output voltages available are 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and 24 Volts DC.
The 150 Watt HEW is housed in an industry standard half brick case measuring 2.3" x 2.4" x 0.55 H.
The module is fully encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound for superior thermal performance in a still air or limited airflow environment.
The unit also has an aluminum baseplate to allow easy attachment of a heatsink or mounting of the module against an enclosure to further improve the thermal performance of the device.
Calex offers a variety of bolt-on heatsink options for the HEW Series.
The HEW is designed for PCB mount applications, however, a mounting kit is available for users requiring screw terminal connections.
The case operating temperature range of the HEW module is -40 to 100C.
The storage range is -40 to 120C.
The device is protected through pulse by pulse current limiting, short circuit frequency foldback, dead short shutdown and thermal shutdown.
All modules in the HEW Series feature ON/OFF control, output voltage remote sensing and output voltage trim.
The ON/OFF control reduces the input current to 2 mA when the module is in the OFF condition.
All modules are available with either positive or negative ON/OFF logic.
The output voltage remote sense feature can compensate for up to a 10 percent voltage drop on the leads.
This ties into the maximum trim limit for the HEW series of 110 percent.
Under remote sensing, line regulation is 0.02 percent typical and load regulation is 0.05 percent typical.
All HEW modules are isolated input to output.
The isolation voltage is 700VDC for the 9 - 36 Volt input modules and 1544 VDC for the 18 to 75 Volt input modules.
All modules in the 150 Watt HEW Series are RoHS compliant.
Non-RoHS versions of the product are also available, simply contact the factory for details.
UL60950, IEC60950 and CE are pending for the Series.
Units are available from stock to eight weeks.
