Camspec have developed a special version of their standard M350 UV-visible spectrophotometer to check reflectance properties of paints, fabrics and other camouflage materials used by NATO.
For example, all methods - quantitative, scanning and kinetics plus DNA/protein, multi-wavelength and performance validation - are included as standard to eliminate the confusion and cost of software options.
A built-in printer interface gives direct, full-size A4 printouts (and the option to print out the high resolution 1/4 VGA screen display at any time) on inexpensive industry-standard printers like the HP Deskjet.
A 4-cell changer also comes as standard, complete with 4 glass and 2 silica cells, so the M501 is ready to go, straight out of the box.
The alphanumeric keypad is sealed and solvent resistant, and the absence of flat surfaces and cooling vents in the moulded covers minimises the risk of spillages onto or into the instrument.
These "user aware" features combine with the very competitive price to yield an instrument ideal for the routine or teaching laboratory.
