A new range of thermographic inspection windows has been introduced by Cockburn Thermal Imaging for applications which require equipment and components to generate low smoke and fumes (LSF) in a fire The LSF performance has been achieved by using anodised aluminium housings, non-flammable gasket material, aluminium mesh or crystal for the viewing ports and aluminium protective covers

Both crystal and mesh types provide clear thermographic images while offering two levels of security.

Whether in use or when the protective cover is in place, the LSF-C models with crystal viewing ports are rated to IP65 -- one of the highest standards possible in respect of penetration by solid objects and water.

These are the only thermographic inspection windows in the world to meet the IP65 rating at all times.

M-type versions with mesh viewing ports are recommended for high-security areas or where low voltages are involved.

The LSF windows are supplied with 50mm or 75mm viewing diameters, both of which give a good field of view for thermal imaging cameras, so surveys can be carried out conveniently and reliably.

They can be installed as original equipment or retro-fitted.
