Thermovision detects switchgear faults

Inspection windows meet LSF specifications
A new range of thermographic inspection windows has been introduced for applications which require equipment and components to generate low smoke and fumes (LSF) in a fire.
Cyclops Thermographic Inspection window, visitors could see a real time demonstration of their Infrared Sightglasses with one of Cockburns specially designed demonstration unit.
The unit was set up, complete with 'dummy' electrical fault, inside the purpose built piece of electrical switchgear.
The switchgear was fitted with C.T.I.
Cyclops Inspection windows, and through those windows, the tripod mounted Flir Thermal Imaging Camera was imaging real time through the Cyclops, and detecting the switchgears apparent fault.
All of this was apparent to passers by as the cameras image was projected onto a large screen TV.
