Software links Firewire cameras to PC

Cognex has integrated FireWire into its Vision Pro PC vision systems, maintaining its high standards for image acquisition, reliability and performance while providing customers the flexibility to choose from a wide range of FireWire cameras from AVT, Basler, Point Grey and others that adhere to the DCAM 1.3 specification.
FireWire cameras can also be combined with any Cognex frame grabber system, providing additional acquisition flexibility.
Cognex recently announced the MVS-8600 Series, a new family of frame grabbers that support the Camera Link digital communications standard.
