* Lens accessories provide magnification flexibility to optimize reading performance in a variety of applications.
* A super high density (SHD) lens kit allows flat-panel-display manufacturers and printed circuit board assemblers to read tiny codes with cell sizes as small as 0.05mm (2 mil).
* C-mount lens adapter further extends the range of lenses that can be used.
For example, in material handling and logistics applications, C-mount lenses provide integrators the flexibility they need to match the working distance and the field of view to the application requirements.
In addition to the new lens options, DataMan readers support an expanded list of 1D and 2D symbologies including PharmaCode, Reduced Space Symbology (RSS), Composite Symbology (CS) PDF417, MicroPDF and the most popular postal codes making the readers suitable for a wider range of automotive, packaging, electronics, pharmaceutical, postal and document handling applications.
"By extending the range of lenses which can be used with DataMan, customers can increase performance, facilitate integration, and in some cases, reduce the overall cost of implementation" said Carl Gerst, Cognex senior director and Business Unit manager for ID Products.
"By continually adding new code symbologies to DataMan, more customers can benefit from DataMan's remarkable speed and continuously high read rates".
All DataMan 100 readers offer easy set up with integrated illumination, beeper, adjustable optics, a built-in aimer and a push-button trigger.
The compact design of DataMan 100 readers makes them ideal for applications where space is limited such as label printers, clinical analyzers, marking equipment and document handlers. Request a free brochure from Cognex UK ...
