Main purchase is a new Matsuura CNC machine, the RA-1G11 VMC.
It is a fully integrated, dual-pallet, high speed model and is ideal for short runs.

Claro precision has also just completed a Gauge and Tool Makers Association (GTMA) assessment programme and believes that the recent investments will bring significant advantages to customers.
These include faster production speeds, owing to reduced setting up times.
Also the machining centres offer improved surface finish and consistency, so that less finishing work is required and so passing on costs savings to the customer.
The shopfloor has been completely reorganised to improve product flow and productivity while a number of older machines has been decommissioned.
Co-founder and managing director, Howard Chadwick, said: "These new machine investments now allow us to produce an even higher level of component finish and consistency, which has significantly reduced the amount of time needed for finishing".
The company expects to order more new equipment during 2002.
The company targets mainly the small and medium batch markets and offers a full design and build service.
