Diesel-powered automobile bid supported
As part of its contribution to a world land speed record attempt, Corus has supplied a range of its high strength steels for the manufacture of the JCB Dieselmax chassis frame.
Corus, the international steel company, has announced its support of JCB's aim to break the world land speed record for a diesel-powered automobile The world record attempt will take place in August 2006 at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, in the JCB Dieselmax vehicle, which will be driven by Wing Commander Andy Green, the fastest man on earth
