CPR Automations development of the CleanWeld machines and the combination of I R Welding with CPR's vast experience of Automated Assembly is paying dividends for filter manufacturers The already impressive number of machines manufactured and supplied for beverage filters are being added to with repeat orders from the major manufacturers

Recent orders for CleanWeld systems include Automotive air and fuel filter production taking work away from traditional hotplate machines and resin bonded assemblies.

An important breakthrough for the filter manufacturers is the ability to use standard polypropylene in most colours, and in particular black which is a favourite under bonnet Colour.

Other welding techniques require high cost special polymers to give the correct high bonding strengths.

However the flexibility of the CPR system allows the use of the high cost polymers if required.

The move into Automotive filters is another success for CleanWeld and CPR is now recognised as the leading manufacturer of I R Welding machines.

Away from filter manufacture CPR has received orders from customers for more replacements of hot plate machines for plastic welding of assemblies, and the use of CPR's control system with formed lamps has made the process more effective with lower running costs.
