Crane Scales can now offer upgrades to the industry's premier wireless weighing solution for all weighing applications with the MSI-9000 cell scale The retrofit kit integrates CellScale technology with existing MSI-4260 Port-A-Weigh and MSI-6260 Trans-Weigh crane scales

RF digital wireless transmission of real-time weight and product information can be easily networked and communicated to all the CellScale accessory products; including the MSI-3750CS RF digital weight indicator, MSI-9020 CellModem and the MSI-9750 RF portable indicator.

Other manufacturers' equipment can be upgraded with careful planning and ingenious engineering to modify existing housing and extrusion.

Users will benefit from the enhanced application flexibility and improved reliability of cellular weighing.

Multiple scales, load cell and analogue signals can be controlled and monitored from one or more locations.

Frequency hopping spread spectrum in 32 channels at an operating frequency of 2.4GHz allows 32 networks of multiple scales/inputs with independent calibration parameters for each.

The radio functions in the ISM band, license-free in the USA and Europe.

Transmitting through a standard planar antenna, the CellScale has an effective range of 150m indoors and 300m outdoors.
