Haritan was previously vice president of engineering for CoWare's SPW business unit, and Shepard joins CoWare from a position as a human resources management consultant.
Haritan and Shepard both report to Alan Naumann, president and CEO of CoWare.
In his new position, Haritan is responsible for worldwide engineering and product development, leveraging CoWare's global engineering talent to continue to produce industry-leading electronic system-level (ESL) design tools.

Previously, CoWare CTO Karl Van Rompaey was acting vice president of engineering.
Shepard joins CoWare in a newly created position of vice president of human resources.
In late 2003, she played an integral role in quickly assimilating the SPW team into CoWare.
In her new position, Shepard will focus on providing HR support to CoWare managers, with an emphasis on organizational development, departmental alignment and compensation.
According to Naumann, "Eshel is very well known within the industry as a manager who hires great people and delivers quality products on time.
His broad, multi-site engineering management experience and deep knowledge of the ESL design market will help take CoWare to the next level.
Sally has an excellent track record of leading HR teams and embracing the diversities that global companies face.

Sally's experience will be invaluable to CoWare as the company continues to grow." About Eshel Haritan Haritan joined CoWare in 2003 as vice president of engineering for the SPW business unit.
He was previously with Cadence Design Systems, where he managed the SPW product line engineering, and since January 2000, managed the Cadence System-Level Design group engineering, including SPW, VCC, NC-SystemC and Test Builder.
He joined Motorola Semiconductors Israel in 1985 and for more than 10 years developed layout, synthesis and simulation tools for internal use.
About Sally Shepard Ms.
Shepard has more than 20 years of experience in human resources management for technology and professional services companies.
Prior to joining CoWare, she was a human resources management consultant providing organizational development, compensation and executive level support to a variety of companies.
She has held positions as vice president of human resources with Lutris Technologies, a startup software company, and Exponent, a publicly held engineering consulting firm.
Earlier in her career she held management roles in engineering, IT and human resources with subsidiaries of Exponent Ms.
Shepard has a B.S.
in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
