Non flammable degreasing formulation

Vaposol AMC, from Stowlin Croftshaw, is a non-flammable formulation with no components classified with the prohibited risk phrases R45, R60, R62 or R63, designed specifically for vapour degreasing.

Vaposol AMC is designed specifically for vapour degreasing and is a non-flammable formulation, with no components classified with the prohibited risk phrases R45, R60, R62 or R63 It can be used in existing good quality vapour, vapour liquid and ultrasonic tanks, with minor modification to reduce heating and change to control settings Vaposol AMC operates at only 42C, less than half the temperature required with Trichloroethylene

The low operating temperatures make the working environment less stressful for the operator and due to the low thermal turbulence, there is much less smell.

The improved working conditions can reduce absences and improve operator reliability.

When vapour degreasing with Vaposol AMC operator exposure should be kept as low as possible.

Croftshaw technical support representatives train operators, validate processes, monitor and record emissions on site to ensure safe use of Vaposol AMC.

Provided exposure is below occupational exposure limits Vaposol AMC presents no hazard or risk to health.

Cleaned components are dry and at only 40C, comfortable to handle immediately and are at the ideal temperature for powder coating or painting.

Cleaning at low temperature allows precision cleaning of temperature sensitive parts.

Dimensional changes are minimal which allows immediate quality control testing or assembly of machined parts.

Cleaning cycles using Vaposol AMC are halved when compared to Trichloroethylene, which allows production to be doubled using the same equipment.

Productivity is increased by reducing waiting time in the morning for the vapour degreaser to be heated ready for use.

Vaposol AMC components are very widely used in industry, but only trace elements have been detected in the atmosphere, and it is not detectable in rivers, oceans or ground water.

This is attributed to its high volatility and bio-degradability by naturally occurring hydroxyl radicals to produce carbon monoxide and hydrogen chloride, simple products that are already present in the environment.

Vaposol AMC has a very short atmospheric lifetime of only 6 months, which means that it does not accumulate in the atmosphere and is not transported into the ozone layer.

Reduction of global warming gases is the most urgent challenge for the future.

Vaposol AMC is not a greenhouse gas, and less greenhouse gases are produced at power stations to supply the lower energy needs of vapour degreasing when using Vaposol AMC. Request a free brochure from Stowlin Croftshaw ...
