Castrol is now offering its versatile, semi-synthetic Hysol Excel cutting fluid in 5-litre packs, making it more convenient for smaller metalworking companies to buy It is available exclusively through Castrol's Premier Reseller network and can also be ordered in 20, 60 and 208 litre packs and IBCs

Multi-purpose Hysol Excel is proving popular with small and medium volume cutting fluid users because it provides excellent performance across the majority of metalworking processes and with most materials; enabling them to rationalise coolants without compromise where they had previously had to use a number of different products.

It is suitable for milling, drilling, tapping and grinding applications with materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, steels including stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and yellow metals.

Hysol Excel's advanced lubricity package has been formulated to improve component quality and finish, extend tool life and increase feeds, speeds and output.

It also resists bacteria and fungal infections and does not give off unpleasant odours, which significantly extends coolant life and helps to increase productivity.

As it is free from chlorine, nitrate and phenol, disposal costs are also reduced.

Other operational benefits include excellent wetting properties, reduced drag-out and cleaner machine tools.
