SS load cell works in tension and
compression
A miniature stainless steel load cell designed for automotive, aerospace and other applications, is available with full scale ranges of 500N and 1kN and perform in tension and compression.
The DEMS load cell, now available from Celsum Technologies, is a miniature stainless steel load cell designed for automotive and aerospace applications, but with many more uses It is available with full scale ranges of 500N and 1kN (100 and 200lbf), they will perform in tension and compression, and are available with a choice of mechanical connections (both male or female), and can be supplied with electrical connections to the precision bonded strain gauge or with a built-in analogue amplifier which will give an output scaled to between 0.5 and 4.5V DC

The DEMS transducer, built in 17-4PH stainless steel and sealed to IP67, is highly responsive, with a bandwidth of 10kHz, has an operating temperature range of -20 deg C to +120 deg C, is temperature compensated between 0 deg C and +70 deg C, runs off of a DC voltage supply between 8V and 16V, and is ideal for many static and dynamic applications.
The DEMS sensor is the latest addition to the range of miniature and sub-miniature transducers offered by Celsum Technologies.
A full range of digital and analogue signal conditioning electronics is also available, and Celsum Technologies is always happy to consider modifications for special applications. Request a free brochure from Celsum Technologies ...
