Exhibitors experienced high levels of serious enquiries from companies genuinely interested in their products and capabilities at the 2007 event - the Subcon 2008 event will be even more important.
Exhibitors from the UK, Europe and around the world offer everything from machined parts, electronic assemblies, castings, plastics mouldings and metal fabrications, through to full manufacturing services, design and build, and rapid prototyping.
The 2008 event will be co-located with several complementary events that will allow visitors to take an even broader look at their sourcing requirements - including deciding whether or not to make components themselves and when to buy in proprietary drives and controls.
For companies manufacturing products in-house, MACH 2008 runs during April 21-25, 2008 and is the UK's main evnt for manufacturing technologies.
It covers metal cutting and metal forming machine tools along with ancillary products, tooling, automation and services.
Organised by the Manufacturing Technologies Association, MACH attracts over 500 exhibitors and more than 22,000 visitors.
The 'Drives and Controls' show, organized by DFA Media and running during April 22-24, 2008, is the UK's main event for automation, drives, power transmission and motion control Subcon 2008 event director, Jon Hughes, in a report to manufacturingtalk.com, said: "As an annual event, Subcon is a must-see show in its own right, but with the added benefits to visitors of taking a broader look at their whole make/buy strategy this will be the highlight of the 2008 calendar for anyone in manufacturing.
