Responsive Engineering adds to machining
service
The Responsive Engineering company has acquired a subcontract machining company, which will add to the firm's manufacturing services for a broad range of industries.
Responsive Engineering has acquired Exact Engineering and set up Exact Machining UK, which will operate with Responsive's existing precision machining subsidiary, Kingsway More details will be available from Responsive Engineering, which will be exhibiting on Stand F22 at the UK's Subcon subcontracting show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham during April 22-24, 2008

Responsive Engineering is a group of sub contract engineering companies of which the principal subsidiaries are as follows.
* Weldex (precision welding).
* Streamline (laser profiling and water jet cutting).
* Pressex (pressing, forming and assembly).
* Kingsway (precision machining).
Following the acquisition, Responsive Engineering (Holdings) will have sales of GBP 14 million and 150 employees at two sites on Kingsway, Team Valley, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.
