Arnold Plastics to demonstrate machined components

A Subcon product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team May 12, 2009

Arnold Engineering Plastics will be exhibiting at Subcon on stand A100 and will be showing a diverse range of machined, fabricated and vacuum-formed plastic components.

The latest investment at the company is a CMS Antares 2615 PX5 five-axis machining centre.

This will increase current capacity for complex production tooling in resin and aluminium, and will accurately trim components in all types of materials including Kevlar.

Arnold Engineering Plastics serves a wide range of industries including oil and gas, aerospace, pharmaceutical, food processing, medical, retail, boat building and packaging.

All these sectors have their own specific requirements whether it be special machining, intricate fabrication, bonding, the combining of plastics with other wood or metal parts, or the use of specialist materials such as Peek and PVDF.

Subcon 2009 takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 9 to 11 June and will give buyers the chance to source all types of subcontract manufacturing services.
