Tenneco purchases 47 seats of Med2sap, CAD Schroer's SAP interface, developed in partnership with DSC Software AG, for the Medusa design automation suite

CAD Schroer Group (CSG), the global engineering solutions provider, has announced that Tenneco, one of the world's leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of automotive ride control and emission control products, has selected the Med2sap interface to be deployed in its ride control engineering centres in Europe and North America Tenneco's ride control business unit chose the solution because it wants to integrate its Medusa 2D product designs into the corporate PLM structure worldwide

"We have been using Medusa since the late 1980s," says Tenneco in St Truiden.

"Having introduced mySAP PLM to optimise our corporate processes, we found that the Med2sap interface provides the ideal solution for integrating our 2D design data into the new regime".

CAD Schroer works with clients in the automotive supply chain all over the world, many of whom face similar integration challenges when new process solutions meet existing engineering systems.

Med2sap allows customers to easily integrate their engineering data with corporate process flows in areas such as sales, planning, pre-production, manufacturing, and order handling.

"We are very pleased to be working with such an innovative, growth-oriented company as Tenneco," says Joep Brouwers of CSG, who looks after the Tenneco account.

"The company has been a Medusa customer for nearly two decades now, and we pride ourselves on being able to provide longstanding customers with add-on solutions that grow with, and accommodate change in, the PLM software sector".
