Arc welding machines are synergic, easy to use

Modular step switch arc welding machines with synergy mode are easy to operate and user friendly and can be readily configured for work in hand.

The Cloos Qineo Step series step-switch welding machines provide user friendly operation and technology at an acceptable price.

Cloos said that the machines are suitable for universal application of manual welding in the capacity range 180-600A.

The machines' modular design allows the operator to configure the machine according to his specific requirements.

In synergic operation mode the welder can revert to factory-programmed parameter settings (synergic characteristic curves).

Depending on the step-switch position - the factory programming automatically carries out all the adjustments relevant to the welding process.

The fine adjustment of the arc can be achieved by simply turning the adjusting knob.

Welding without synergic function is also possible.

* Optimum ignition and quiet, stable arc - according to the special requirement the Qineo Step is available in the versions Eco (basic model) or Master (high level equipment) and can be gas or water cooled.

All systems guarantee optimum ignition characteristics with low spatter and a quiet and stable arc, and provide excellent weld seam quality when welding with short or spray arc.

The new step-switch series is available in compact design or in the capacity range from 350A on with a separate wire drive unit for an even larger work radius.

If more flexibility is required, operation can be carried out either on the welding machine, in the wire drive unit or on the portable remote control.

There is also an option for carrying out adjustments to the capacity or for selection of the job directly on a remote control which is integrated in the torch.

The efficient 2 + 2 roller drive on the ergonomic Wire Drive wire feed system guarantees reliable wire transport.

The Qineo Step can be used in operating modes 2-cycle, 4-cycle, spot welding and interval.
