Automated calibration system offers
reliability
Calibration Dynamics has announced the MB Win 475 from MB Dynamics, an automated solution for the calibration of accelerometers, vibration sensors and displacement transducers.
Calibration Dynamics is the exclusive UK distributor for MB Dynamics, and are able to market the MB Win 475 The MB Win 475 is an automated calibration system that offers reliable, high efficiency, automated solutions to the calibration of accelerometers, vibration sensors and displacement transducers

Calibrator simulates electrical measurements
Portable multifunctional, multivariable calibrator can perform an extensive variety of electrical simulations and measurements, as well as measuring temperature, vacuum and pressure evaluations.
Precision pressure calibrator automated
An automated high accuracy precision pressure calibrator measures and controls across a wide range of pressures in transmitters, transducers, pressure relief valves, gauges and switches.
ICP, charge and voltage mode accelerometers can all be tested, while the system is driven through a PC interface.
It slashes calibration costs, maximises productivity, assures consistent quality and manages transducer data automatically.
Used extensively throughout the global aerospace, defence and automotive markets, this complete solution offers an easy to use system enabling the rapid and in many cases fully automatic test and calibration of a broad range of vibration sensors.
The Win475 is able to test and calibrate virtually all accelerometers and velocity sensors regardless of size and weight, including charge, low impedance, voltage, servo, strain gauge, piezoresistive and capacitive.
It also calibrates displacement and velocity transducers, even those with a built-in meter and no AC output.
There are no operator adjustments required for gain and vibration levels etc as the software controlled system virtually eliminates operator error, enhances repeatability, ensures optimum signal to noise ratio and minimises uncertainty.
The system can be configured for operation from1Hz to 10 kHz, 25 mm peak to peak and up to 40g peak, and swept and step-sine, random vibration and shock profiles can be managed by the user.
The revolutionary Win475 is fully compliant with the relevant requirements of ISO/ IEC17025 and can therefore be cost justified for many applications with as few as fifty transducers.
It has a System Transfer Uncertainty of 0.25 percent, measured as a "total system" rather than computing from a "summation of many independent components" approach which matches or surpasses more expensive alternatives.
The STU provides frequency domain values, not one number and can be measured and re-verified at any future time.
Laboratory's can use the Win475 to comply, for calibration or vibration transducers with ANSI/ NCSL Z540-1-1994 "Calibration Laboratories and Measurement and Test Equipment - General Requirement" and relevant requirement of ISO 9000 (ANSI/ ASQC Series), ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 16063-1 and ISO 5347.
