Data Translation [NASDAQ: DATX] has released its DT3010-268, a multifunction PCI-bus module which offers a standard off-the-shelf SCSI-3 connector for easier connection to data acquisition boards.

The DT3145 frame grabber is a base Camera Link configuration and includes the following key features: * Area-scan and line-scan capability.
* 4K x 4K spatial resolution Sup to 16K for line scan Sfor high-resolution imaging.
* User-programmable camera controls and general purpose output signals.
* All standard functions controlled through one Camera Link connector.
* 32-Bit 33 MHz PCI Bus support handles large amounts of image data - 80 Mbytes/sec typical, up to 132 Mbytes/sec maximum- quickly and effectively, without CPU intervention.
* Single-port 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16-bit monochrome, dual-port 8, 10 and 12-bit monochrome and 24-bit RGB camera configurations.
* Asynchronous reset provides deterministic repeatability for machine vision.
* Eight digital control lines (4 out, 4 in) to monitor and control peripherals.
* Digital input lines include interrupt on change for mission-critical timing needs.
* Non-destructive overlays for placement on top of live video, ideal for applications where display video and processing occur simultaneously The DT3145 frame grabber is compatible with DT Vision Foundry, Data Translation's powerful machine vision application software package, enabling both programmers and non-programmers to quickly implement custom machine vision solutions.
The DT3145 can also be used with Data Translation's GLOBAL LAB Image/2 for scientific imaging.
