AB Electronic Assemblies (ABEA) has invested over GBP500,000 to add new services to its portfolio, including bar coding, optical and BGA inspection, finer controls on screen printing and BGA re-work.
The new service has been launched in response to an increasing market demand for this level of service.
First started by the automotive industry, which requires finished components which can simply be assembled, many manufacturers now need single-sourcing of the complete component.
Data Plastics was ideally placed to provide this service, with an already extensively equipped moulding plant and its own toolroom.
