Designed to speed up the manufacturing and efficient redressing of graphite complex RAM EDM dies, the compact design of a high speed machining centre lets it be parked next to a RAM EDM m/c.

The new high speed CNC machining centre M9 is designed to speed up the manufacturing and efficient redressing of graphite complex RAM EDM dies Designed with limited floor space in mind, the machining center has a footprint of 48in x 62in

A working envelope of 15.75in x 15.75in x 7.8in offers an open height of 11.8in.

The compact design combined with the 208V/7A power requirement allows the machine to be placed right next to a RAM EDM machine.

Standard, graphite, toolholding systems can be used for workholding on the machine.

This allows electrodes to be machined and redressed with speed and quality.

RAM EDM electrodes are efficiently redressed on th e shop floor and are will generate savings of CNC machine times, as well as graphite material.

With a 60,000 rev/min, pressurized, 3HP spindle, the tooling goes easily through the graphite.

It comes with an automatic tool changer to increase speed and is equipped with an integrated tool length sensor to ease tooling setup.

Designed for high speed machining with intricate tools, the machine is compatible with standard carbide tools.

The M9-GR comes with a Pentium-based PC operating system, which offers canned cycles with an intuitive control that uses look-ahead buffers.

The included hand-held pendant is designed for easy control and operation.

The machine fully protects itself against abrasive dust.

The linear guideways and precision-ground ballscrews are covered and feature positive airflow, as well as an automatic greasing system.

To keep airborne dust in check, the machine requires external dust collection.

The enclosure is designed for optimized airflow and can be fitted to work with your existing graphite dust collection system.
