Modular cylindrical grinders can be customised
A modular concept allows the building of customised cylindrical grinding machine that is ideally suitable for medium to large components and medium volume production applications.
Facing and internal grinding made in one set-up
Facing and internal grinding machine can concentrate and combine serveral operations - including profile grinding - into one set-up under CNC.
The structure of the machine is thermo-symmetric.
The machine bed as well as the column and the cross rail are made of cast iron, which gives a high level of stability to the machine as a whole.
The basic machine consists of two axes (X and Z), with the possibility of incorporating a third axis (C), thereby providing great precision in milling, drilling and other operations.
Tool changeover is automatic.
The cross rail can be a moving one, which makes it possible to machine parts of different sizes on the same machine.
The cross rail moves in steps of 200mm.
The standard tool changer has a capacity for 18 tools, although depending on customer requirements, changers with a capacity for up to 60 tools can be fitted.
Given the symmetrical architecture of the machine it is possible to install two tool magazines, one on each side of the machine.
A wide range of options is available: power tools, part measurement, tool measurement and so on.
The Danobat VTC can machine parts with a diameter of up to 3200mm, and it is solidly established in the following sectors: aeronautics industry, railway industry, oil and valve industry, among others.
