Diamond Phoenix unveils flexible picking system

A Diamond Phoenix product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Oct 17, 2008

Diamond Phoenix has introduced Exactpick, a 'high cube' flexible picking system for the retail industry and other business sectors that need high pick rates to respond to customer needs.

The system's software controls, light-directed picking focus and open design provide flexibility for staffing, picking and replenishment.

'Exactpick is designed to enable companies to maximise the efficiency and accuracy of their order fulfilment processes,' says Graham Boner, sales director at Diamond Phoenix.

'The system is highly flexible, and can be staffed to handle variations in picking demands.

'It can also combine full-case and break-pack picking into a single system.

'As a result, reserve storage is minimised or even eliminated and replenishment activities can occur as workers are picking orders.

Exactpick is designed to use less floor space than a traditional rack or shelving system.
