Thermocouples, data loggers and analysis
To ensure it meets the new requirements, Datapaq has carried out a comprehensive review of its thermocouples, data loggers and analysis software.
Following recent changes to the AMS 2750 specification, to ensure it meets the new requirements, Datapaq has carried out a comprehensive review of its thermocouples, data loggers and analysis software Datapaq's thermocouples and loggers already exceed the accuracy requirements, but changes to the calibration were necessary and all equipment is now supplied with a certificate which satisfies the requirements of AMS 2750D

Thermocouples for accurate temperature readings
Small but powerful, the new 'MicroMag' magnetic thermocouples give accurate product temperature readings from the tightest of recesses.
The heart of a temperature profiling system
The Q18 temperature data logger from Datapaq is ideal for the electronics assembly industry and is claimed to be the most powerful, flexible and robust available.
Datapaq has updated its Furnace INSIGHT Survey analysis software to comply with the new revision, and has also included some additional unique features for ease of use.
* Supervision of the Temperature Uniformity Survey (TUS) by alerting the user when an overshoot occurs, or when stabilisation at the TUS temperature has been achieved * Incorporates all thermocouple and logger correction factors in the data, then calculates all required results such as maximum and minimum temperatures at each survey level * Password protection for extra security * Automatically configure the TUS report to include all the requirements of AMS 2750D.
Additional software features now include: * Automatically calculates furnace class from raw survey data * Instant thermocouple map where the hottest and coldest spots are visually displayed, both on-screen and in the printed report * Quickly and easily inputs correction factors using the TUS Wizard Many heat treatment plants, large and small, are already using Datapaq systems to monitor surveys from within the furnace saving unnecessary downtime and reducing costs.
Founded in 1984, Datapaq are today the industry leader for in-process temperature measurement and analysis systems, providing manufacturing companies around the world with key information on the effectiveness of their ovens, kilns and furnaces.
Datapaq has created industry specific standards to analyse and report information in a precise way - serving the automotive, finishing, can manufacturing, textile processing, ceramic manufacturing, PCB surface mounting, heat-treating and food processing industries worldwide.
