CAD/CAM software sales rise 11%
CAD/CAM software provider, Delcam, reached a new monthly sales record in December 2006, with total sales having beaten previous records by 11%.

The latest release of Delcam's PowerMILL machining software, PowerMILL 3.1, includes a range of enhancements for all manufacturing operations, including high speed and 5-axis machining.
This latest achievement follows record first half sales by the company in the opening six months of 2006.
"December is normally Delcam's best month for software sales," commented managing director Hugh Humphreys.
"With the addition of PartMaker and SwissCAM to our product range earlier this year, it would have been disappointing if we had not set a new sales record in December.
