Diecasting technology developments to be
presented
Semi-Solid Rheocasting, developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will be one of the papers to be presented at The UK Diecasting Society's Annual Conference and Exhibition.
The UK Diecasting Society will hold its Annual Conference and Exhibition on 1st April 2003, at the Manor Hotel, Meriden, West Midlands, UK Sponsored by IdraPrince Ltd, Halburg Guss (Bourne), Acheson and ABB Automation, the conference is set to repeat the success of the 2001 event

Themes of the presentations are varied.
Gibbs will speak about the globalisation of his company, Norwood will focus on new rapid tooling technologies and Dr Yurko will comment on new Semi-Solid Rheocasting developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone involved in the diecasting process to expand their knowledge.
It will introduce delegates to thought provoking concepts, and allow discussions and debates centring around each presentation.
The Exhibition, run in conjunction with the Conference in the same venue, is free to all delegates.
It will provide an excellent forum during tea/coffee breaks and lunch (included in the price of the Conference) in which delegates can network, view new products and liaise with suppliers.
The conclusion of the Conference will take the form of the annual dinner.
