Larger graphics display on a coating thickness gauge features a high contrast backlight and is now capable of presenting full on-screen menus to allow even greater flexibility and simplicity.

DeFelsko Corporation is pleased to introduce important new features of the PosiTector 6000 coating thickness gage used to measure coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals A larger full graphics display features a high contrast backlight and is now capable of presenting full on-screen menus to allow even greater flexibility and simplicity

Min/max, average, standard deviation and number of readings are constantly updated on the display while measurements are being taken.

Batch Management on the PosiTector 6000 is made easier by allowing collected measurements to be grouped for simple analysis of the data.

Batches of stored readings can be viewed, updated or deleted.

The updated PosiTector 6000 now allows the user to store multiple calibration adjustments efficiently for greater convenience when measuring on a variety of substrate conditions.

Fully interchangeable probes now include a molded strain relief at both ends of an acid-resistant cable, which has been redesigned for greater durability and increased life.

Popular features such as Automatic Gage Setup and two-button operation have been maintained allowing the user to take basic measurements or perform advanced functions easily.

The PosiTector 6000 Series conforms to international standards such as ASTM, and ISO.

Each gage comes with a Certificate of Calibration showing traceability to NIST.
