Square weld nuts feeder can be changed quickly

Designed to feed square weld nuts, a vibratory weld nut feeder can be changed from M6 to M8 nuts in a matter of minutes, simply by changing the cassette, tube and feed unit.

Dengensha Europe, the European subsidiary of the Japanese resistance welding equipment manufacturer and supplier Dengensha Manufacturing Co, has introduced a new vibratory weld nut feeder to its range of nut and bolt feeders.

It will enhance the complete range of products available to the automotive components industry and other manufacturing industries where weld nuts and bolts are welded onto components.

This new feeder is specifically designed to feed square weld nuts and can be changed from M6 to M8 nuts in a matter of minutes, simply by changing the cassette, tube and feed unit.

The bowl and the control unit are designed to feed a wide range of square nuts rather than being dedicated to production using on size nut.

When ordering the user should specify whether he wishes to feed several sizes and types of square nut or he can specify a particular size from M6 to M10 and add components to feed other sizes at a later date for another nut size or type from M6 DIN to M8 JIS.

Another new development is a version of nut feeder which uses a pneumatic separator, instead the stock of nuts is maintained in the chute track on the feed unit, separating the feeding from the supply of nuts.

This method of feeding allows for a faster rate of feed and can reduce wear on consumable parts in the feeding unit.
