The fact that IP and EE is also on board for 2008 should provide an added incentive to potential exhibitors and delegates alike.
IP and EE is a content-driven event for all involved in the manufacture, supply and management of stand-by and power generation equipment.
Both public and private sectors are catered for and the range of exhibitors includes companies from many diverse backgrounds: generators, turbines, power plants, sustainable energy and water and waste management to name but a few.
The event is supported by leading trade associations and the global industry magazine Worldwide Independent Power and attracts visitors internationally.
April 2008 will see an impressive line-up of manufacturing and engineering events at the NEC.
As well as the Electrex and IP and EE co-location, Drives and Controls, AirTech and the International Fluid Power exhibition (IFPEX) will take place alongside each other in Hall 3.
Add the long-running MACH and Subcon to the mix and there's a line-up of events that most manufacturing and engineering companies will want to have someone attending.
Ian Atkinson, event director of DFA Media, organisers of the show, commented: "Today's industry environment demands increasing corporate compliance with Government legislation and a growing focus on socially responsible working practices.
There is also huge pressure to improve operating efficiency and save costs, so it's more important than ever that manufacturing and engineering businesses communicate effectively with each other.
The co-location of major trade shows makes sound business sense not only from a sales point of view; it also facilitates communication between different parts of the industry, which can only bode well for the future.".
